Milly Marshall

President

Milly is 3rd year English student. Her favourite dance style is jazz and she will be teaching our open jazz class this year.
Her favourite memory is the Summer Showcase 2021 as it was the first time back dancing on the uni stage in a year and a half!

Jess Darke

Treasurer

Jess is a 3rd year maths and music student. Her favourite styles are hiphop and tap. She teaches hiphop and commercial. Her favourite memory is the February showcase in her 1st year, as it was the first time she got to perform with dance society.

Izzy Wedgwood
(she/her)

Secretary

Izzy is a 2nd year Comparative Literature and Culture and Drama student (it's a mouthful but she loves her course). She teaches tap and also loves to dance all styles from MT to street to jazz to ballet.
"I found so much joy in dance society in my first year. I'm elated to be a part of the committee for 2021/2!"

Luz Sanchez-Real Zielniewicz

Vice President

Luz is a 2nd year Physics with music student. Her favourite styles are hiphop and contemporary. She teaches the contemporary class. Her favourite memory is the Dance Soc 24hr fundraiser.
"I can't wait to start this year and get to know all of you!"

Beth Cummings
(she/her)

Communications Officer

Beth is a 2nd year Liberal Arts student. She loves jazz and lyrical dance. Beth teaches our technique class.
Her favourite memory is finally getting to meet everyone in person at our society awards and celebrating all the incredible things we achieved in such a challenging year. "I can't wait to get back to dancing with you again soon!"

Alyssa Maskell

Competition Coordinator

Alyssa is a 2nd year Psychology student. Her favourite styles are jazz and lyrical. She has far too many good memories of dance society to pick a favourite, but she says the celebrations after shows and competitions are always memorable.

Isabella Thistlewood

Events Coordinator

Isabella is a 2nd year Spanish and Drama student. She teaches stretch and tone. She loved rehearsing the Summer Showcase because it was the first time she got to meet and dance with everyone in person.
"If you're new to dance and nervous to start drop me a message! A number of our members never danced before (myself included!) so we know how you feel. Rest assured everyone is so supportive!"

Tori Cable

Social Secretary

Tori is a 2nd year Business Management student. She teaches dance fitness and loves jazz. Her favourite memory is the Summer Showcase and especially the social after.
"Never be afraid to try something new! Last year was my first time dancing and now I'm a proud committee member, so always try new things!"

Meghan Moody

Pastoral Care Officer

Meghan is a 2nd year physics student. She teaches ballet and says "Ballet is my love!". Her favourite memory is the dance society awards when she met everyone in person after a year of classes on zoom.
